Our story
Every trip leaves
something behind.
TravelViber is the marketplace where travelers turn leftovers into value — for someone else, for their wallet, and for the planet.
Built by travelers,
for travelers.
TravelViber started from a simple frustration. You land home after a two-week trip, bags full of things you didn't end up using — a half-loaded transit card, a handful of local banknotes, a tour voucher you never redeemed, snacks still in their wrappers. You can't exchange most of it. The rest ends up in a drawer, forgotten. It felt like a waste. Because it was.
So we built TravelViber: a peer-to-peer marketplace where travelers — business or leisure — can sell, buy, or give away the things a trip leaves behind. Leftover currency to fellow travelers heading to the same destination. Unused hotel breakfast credits. An airport lounge pass you won't need. A transit pass with rides still on it. Anything that has value to someone else, somewhere.
Whether you're a frequent flyer or a once-a-year vacationer, the idea is the same: your leftover is someone else's find. TravelViber is where those two people meet.
Every trip generates waste.
Yours doesn't have to.
Think about what a trip actually leaves behind. Half a bag of local snacks you couldn't finish on the plane. A travel card with €14 still loaded. Hotel minibar items you never touched. Clothes you overpacked and didn't wear. Adapter plugs that will live in a drawer for three years. None of it is worthless — it's just in the wrong hands.
The travel industry is one of the most wasteful on earth. Hotels discard thousands of barely-used toiletries every single day. Airline passengers throw away food they didn't eat. Currency offices reject the leftover notes travelers bring back. Millions of dollars in tour credits expire unclaimed every year.
TravelViber is a small but real antidote to that waste. When a physical item gets a second owner instead of a landfill, that matters. When money that would have been lost comes back to someone, that matters. When a tour slot gets filled by an eager traveler instead of sitting empty, that matters. Collectively, small acts like these make a dent.
We don't ask you to change how you travel. We just ask you to share what's left over when you're done.
Millions
of travel items discarded or abandoned every year worldwide
$2B+
in foreign currency left unspent by travelers each year
1 in 3
hotel guests leave food, drinks, or minibar items untouched
30%
of tour and activity bookings go unused due to plan changes
Three steps. That's it.
Post your item
List whatever you have left over — physical items, currency, bookings, or services. Add a photo, set a price (or make it free), and you're live in under two minutes.
Connect instantly
Interested buyers or claimants message you directly through the platform. Chat, agree on logistics, and sort out how you'll hand the item over — in the hotel lobby, at the airport, or online for digital items.
Exchange & move on
Meet up, swap, or send it over. Leave a review once you're done. Everyone wins — the item finds a new home, the money comes back, and you both travel a little smarter.

What we stand for
Community first
Every transaction on TravelViber is between real travelers. We're not a middleman buying and reselling — we're the space where the traveler community helps itself. Your good experience is someone else's great find.
Trust & safety
Email-confirmed accounts, a verified badge for profiles our team has checked, reviews from real conversations, and in-platform messaging that flags suspicious links. We take trust seriously because strangers meeting to exchange things requires it.
Less waste, more value
We believe the most sustainable item is one that already exists and gets used. Every listing on TravelViber is a choice not to throw something away, not to let a booking expire, not to let currency become a souvenir you never wanted.
